An earthquake hits a small town. There are no casualties, but the whole community is forced to flee their homes. As the adults struggle to find balance in precarious times, Viola, a ten-year-old girl, imagines the earthquake as a friend who forces her to stay outside with the others, discovering the world of adulthood, friendship and a so-far unexplored nature. Superluna is presented at the 2023 Rome Film Festival, in the independent and collateral section Alice nella città. This feature film is an evocative coming-of-age story played by an excellent cast.
