Welcome to Sondr!

As a 100% Belgian and independent post-production studio, we are a passionate collective with over a decade of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the art of post-production. The word "Sonder" encapsulates our belief in the realization that everyone has a unique story, and at Sondr, we are here to bring those stories to life.

During the Gold Rush in 1850 in the Far West, the Sisters Brothers, Eli and Charlie, famous hitmen, are in charge of finding Herman Kermit Warm with the help of the sharp Morris. Warm is hard to get and what started as an ordinary mission turns out to be a dangerous hunt through the country. Can they really trust Morris? And what about the precious secret that Warm is keeping? Eli starts to question the mission he engaged in.

The film had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on 2 September 2018, where it won the Silver Lion for Best Direction. The Sisters Brothers received positive reviews from critics, with most praise going to its performances, characters, direction and soundtrack. It was a box office bomb, and won 10 awards and 23 nominations at among others the Césars Awards, Lumière Awards, TIFF, Venice Film Festival.  Congratulations Jacques Audiard with the price of Best Director. We are proud to have post-produced The Sisters Brothers!
